Rohit Shetty, MD, India and Prof. Theo Seiler, MD, PhD, Switzerland, recently had the chance to perform the first lenticular extractions with the SCHWIND femtosecond laser.

As one of the very first users of the SCHWIND femtosecond laser Rohit Shetty, MD, treated 34 myopic eyes in the range between -3 and -8D within a period of aprox. 2 months. Patients age ranged between 18 and 58 years. In this video he reports about his very good experience and the most important applicational aspects. 

After doing his first cases with the SCHWIND femtosecond laser, Prof. Theo Seiler points out its most remarkable performance features like integrated static cyclotorsion control or objective treatment centration, marking a new era of femtosecond lasers.
