The implications of COVID-19 continue to evolve. We know that most of you are dealing with extraordinary challenges at the moment.
Our number one priority is to protect the health of our employees. At our headquarters in Kleinostheim, Germany, we have taken all possible safety measures in this regard. At the same time, serving you, our valued customers, is of utmost importance to us.
All departments of SCHWIND with customer contact such as Customer Support, Technical Service, Sales and Marketing are prepared to work inside the company or via home office.
This ensures that you reach your contact person by email or phone during normal business hours. However, we ask for your patience in case that the response might be delayed. We are also reviewing our supply chain on a regular basis to ensure part availability and keep our production running to fulfill your orders.
As all of you are aware, we cannot welcome guests to our company until further notice. Visits to your company are, where possible despite closing borders, limited to critical issues. As an alternative we offer video conference techniques to discuss business issues instead and of course provide remote service interventions, as already practiced in the past. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.
Although the corona virus will affect us all in the upcoming months and the effects on the refractive community are not yet foreseeable at the moment, SCHWIND will do everything to make things run and to keep a positive attitude.
