SmartSight NOVA is an advanced lenticule extraction procedure that can be performed using SCHWIND ATOS. While the conventional SmartSight procedure is proven to deliver excellent results, the introduction of CenTrax technology further elevates the capabilities of ATOS femtosecond laser, thus enabling it to perform SmartSight NOVA in addition to SmartSight procedure.

What is CenTrax®?
CenTrax is an active intelligent centration and eye tracking system in SCHWIND ATOS. The compensation component of CenTrax recognizes pupil movement during the final stages of docking, thereby enabling improved and optimized centration. Besides offering smart docking assistance, CenTrax also actively compensates the residual error post docking. Hence it is not essential anymore to shift the cutting pattern after docking and the need for manual marking is eliminated. The innovation of CenTrax is only possible because of the well established compatibility between SCHWIND ATOS and SCHWIND diagnostic devices.
